Volunteer Roles

 IRFF UK is a registered charity in the UK. It started in 1980 and has been developing since. IRFF UK made a number of positive developments in 2021, increasing its income slightly and beginning to support a literacy programme for primary school children in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and a school for the deaf, blind or mentally impaired in Sri Lanka.

 

There is a full programme ahead for IRFF UK in 2022 but there are some challenges in obtaining the funds to do everything we can foresee right now and new projects are being suggested regularly. We need £15,000 - £20,000 new income in this year and more manpower to manage everything.

Country Coordinator

The person who represents the working board when talking to specific nations. They will know the ins and outs of all projects happening in the country they manage. They will make the assessments of certain projects goals and needs as well as assess if projects need continued support or not. We will train suitable people to liaise with a particular team in a country.

Researcher

Someone who can research up to date knowledge on the activities we do, what other charities and companies are doing. The researcher will be assessing new opportunities and deciding they potentially fit IRFF UK’s vision and goals.

Social Media & Marketing Assistant

The social media & marketing assisting will help in running our social media channels and monitoring our existing various ad platforms and potential new future ad platforms.

Volunteer Fundraiser

This position is more open ended. We are happy to try various different ideas for fundraising. Everyone has a different passion and a different approach to how to they can raise money for a cause they believe in.

Common fundraisers that people do these days are setting their social media platforms to fundraise for a cause on their birthday. It is simple and doesn't take much effort.
