We wanted to share a powerful and urgent update from our work on the ground. Our latest blog post tells the story of the crisis in Walmer Township, Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa — where children are quietly starving while local heroes fight every day to stop that from happening.

In the past year, more than 25 children under five have died from severe acute malnutrition — and the number continues to rise.

In the midst of this crisis, IRFF UK is supporting a lifeline: a soup kitchen run by the Walmer Angel Project, serving around 500 meals 5 times a week to those who would otherwise go without.
